another PioneerWoman adventure.  I modified these tutorials by using brown rice instead of white rice and cucumber, avocado, and cream cheese as filling instead of all the various options presented.

they tasted great (well – I thought so, but Joel wouldn’t touch them), but the presentation…well, you can see how that turned out!

some robins built a nest in the motor to my dad’s wheel line.  i was able to sneak a few pictures of the new babies (born maybe 3 days ago).  the momma was not please that i got so close!

Happy Mother’s Day Mom!  We’re sad we couldn’t spend the day with you, but Christy and I decided to spend the day together (and I promise – there was no arguing….it was Mother’s Day after all!)  Christy and Ian came down to Seattle to join us for the LA Galaxy v. Sounders SC.
