Looking back on our home remodel project, I’m really disappointed we didn’t do a better job of taking before pictures of our house. (I guess that is a note for next time!)
Here are some of the before pictures we actually have – they aren’t true before pictures because the day we were handed the keys to the house I pulled up the carpet. The previous owner didn’t believe in cleaning and had WAY too many pets for this size of a house – add that to 20 year old carpets and you’ve created a recipe for disaster on my allergies.
These pictures are from the weekend we moved into the house. I’d apologize for the mess, but for the 4 (going on 5) years of our remodel our house has been in a semi-constant state of disorganization. I’m actually surprised we both make it out of the house fully dressed for work every morning. Well – I guess it isn’t actually that bad, but some days it sure feels like it.
Alright – here it goes…
Our living room – view from the front door:
view from the hallway into the living room

Master bedroom (let me ask you – who doesn’t want a princess pink master bedroom with frilly white curtains?)

it looks like I still need to dig up some before pictures of the bathrooms before sharing the after pictures.
